Scavengar is a world-scale spatial storytelling tool and will become an immersive experience marketplace. What began as a student project quickly evolved into something bigger that caught the attention of Apple, Product Hunt, a variety of brands that want to leverage the possibilities of AR and built campaigns on top of our sought-after UX.
By combining our expertise in AR with a strong UI/UX focus and Computer Vision, we ensure a truly immersive and highly context-relevant experience that combines entertainment with a real-world purpose. Additionally, education has opened up as an interesting market in recent months, as educators see massive potential in our platform which engages students remotely with interactive AR learning experiences.
We are an early stage (Pre-Seed) venture, backed by APX, Europe’s leading early-stage VC. We’re ramping up to go big and extend the premium features that let users customize every element of their AR experiences (we call them hunts) and make literarily everybody a creator of virtual worlds. Right now we’re five people working on the mission, some part- some full-time. We have 3+ years of experience in the AR industry, have built mobile apps with 4+ million users, and all worked in start-ups before.
About Your Job
We’re looking for a creative and highly motivated person who shares our vision of how immersive technologies will shape our future.
You should bring in experience in immersive tech or mobile app marketing, breathe social, and continuously come up with new and innovative ideas on how to tell the world why we’re the best. Additionally, we not only expect creative approaches to fuel growth but also measure your techniques which requires a data-driven mindset. A proven track record of your past work and influence is a must and a strong network of PR-related contacts is preferred. You’ll be wearing more than one hat, also being responsible for the creation and execution of a communications and growth strategy.
Besides a base income, we’ll be also offering the options for equity (1-4%) in case we’re a perfect match.
For us, it isn’t too important whether you have a specific amount of years of work experience, but rather that you are passionate about what you are doing and always keep being curious.
Please note: We are currently only looking for somebody who’s based and registered in Berlin, Germany. At this stage, remote work is not an option.
